We are excited to announce that the  has approved several s10小组赛竞猜 fixtures for use in wildlife-sensitive areas.

Each of our Certified Wildlife Lighting fixtures employ long-wavelength (560nm or longer) amber LEDs and meets the criteria set out by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

 When designing in wildlife-sensitive areas, remember the three basic rules for protecting vulnerable species from light-pollution:

  • Keep your lighting LOW to the ground and as dim as possible to avoid glare, spill, and light trespass;
  • Keep lights SHIELDED to prevent glare from bare lamps;
  • Keep it LONG; long wavelength light (reds, ambers) are less disruptive to wildlife

“The Wildlife Lighting Certification Program is a cooperative effort between the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service designed to educate the members of the public, the building industry and government officials how to minimize adverse impacts to wildlife by using proper lighting methods. Lighting pollution is serious threat to many types of wildlife. Each year, artificial lights cause disruption of behavior, injury and death to thousands of migrating birds, sea turtles and other reptiles, amphibians, mammals and invertebrates.” (from the FWC website)
